The Lussier family owns and operates a horse ranch breeding 125 AQHA registered horses near Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba, Canada. From one stallion, So Gallant, a grandson of Leo, 10 stallions have carried on old foundation bloodlines into the new millennium at MJ Quarter Horses.

Our quarter horse program mate select mares and stallions to produce colts with the traits which we feel are important for ranch work and arena performance. Foundation bloodlines are used to produce conformation, strong bone, willing dispositions for trainability, athletic ability to perform and the longevity to last many years.

We have been breeding registered quarter horses for 15+ years and continue to enjoy watching our horses go to work for their new owners.

I just wanted to let you know how "Miss Lilly" was doing... with all of the snow and the wet spring we had the poor mare hardly got rode... in my twenty + years of riding and showing, never has a horse impressed me to the point of tears...
...with a less than dozen more rides, about 300+ extra pounds and little to no muscle tone, we headed to the Western Canadian Championships Horse Show & Futurity from August 17-19.
