We were very sad the day we discovered Payday had passed on. He left us as a horse in his prime, and he will be missed. We are thankful for the young mares we have retained in our herd to carry on his bloodlines.

Payday was by the buckskin stallion Peppys Boy 895, who is also the sire of Shania Cee, the 1999 NCHA World Champion. He was bred and raised by Dick Cogdell at Tulia, Texas. Payday has had 6 months of training on cattle with a cutting horse trainer and showed a lot of potential before being sold at Billings, MT. He's a big, strong, hard stopper with lots of cow.

As a breeding stallion in our program, he is crossing well on our mares and giving us some great foals with lots of athleticism and cow.

I purchased a colt from Jim and Marguerite by PB Payday. I must say that he is a promising little colt! He is quiet and has no problem with a saddle sitting on his back and a girth on his belly. He accepts bug spray better that my older horses and I think that he is going to make an awesome horse!!! Thank you again Jim and Marguerite.
